Sunstate Technology Group is seeking a Full-Time Field Engineer / Project Tech II to support on-site client systems in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role covers deploying network hardware, structured cabling, security systems, and server/workstation setups in fast-paced projects.

Requirements include 2+ years in IT field support or cabling, strong TCP/IP, switching, firewalls, and wireless knowledge, plus familiarity with Cisco and Ubiquiti hardware.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on IT field support or structured cabling and networking projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, access points, firewalls) and structured cabling systems (CAT6/CAT6A fiber).
• Deploy workstations and servers, including imaging, patching and security hardening.
• Execute project tasks such as VoIP setups, surveillance camera installations and backup configurations.
