Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations across diverse projects in the Power Market. You will work on building, estimating, and scheduling mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial construction ventures, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires a degree in CM/EE/ME/CE or related field, strong reading of drawings, and ability to navigate a fast-paced job site. Willingness to relocate and travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in CM/EE/ME/CE or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with scheduling and cost control techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with listed software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate and travel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a dynamic team to build, estimate, and schedule projects.
• Prepare detailed work plans and schedules to guide project execution.
• Ensure quality control, manage costs, purchase and manage materials, and maintain schedule and equipment logistics.
• Administer safety programs with strict adherence to company philosophy.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with owners and stakeholders.
• Support both administrative and field operations: review drawings/specs, perform material takeoffs, and prepare cost estimates.
• Supervise subcontractors, coordinate with vendors, and uphold high construction standards.
