Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to support field operations on power projects across North America. You will collaborate with a team to plan, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial construction activities while upholding safety standards.

The role requires an engineering degree, willingness to travel/relocate, and the ability to read drawings, manage costs, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Willingness to travel/relocate for project sites and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a dynamic team to build, estimate, and schedule projects.
• Prepare detailed work plans and schedules to guide project execution.
• Ensure quality control, manage costs, purchase materials, and track logistics.
• Administer safety programs in line with Nobody Gets Hurt philosophy.
• Foster relationships with owners and stakeholders.
• Review drawings/specs and perform material takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors to uphold standards.
