Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer for the Power Delivery division. The role involves supporting field operations on mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial construction projects across North America.

Responsibilities include building work plans, schedules, quality control, cost management, safety program administration, and coordinating with owners and subcontractors. Willingness to relocate and travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and owner specifications.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and cost control techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a dynamic team to build, estimate, and schedule projects.
• Prepare detailed work plans and schedules to guide project execution.
• Ensure quality control, manage costs, and coordinate materials and logistics.
• Support safety programs and uphold the 'Nobody Gets Hurt' philosophy.
• Foster relationships with owners and stakeholders.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
