Job summary

Insituform Technologies USA, LLC seeks an experienced Field Engineer to oversee field production, safety, quality, and project management standards on pipeline rehabilitation projects. You will conduct pre-bid surveys, support contract start-up, and manage submittals and RFIs.

You will work with field crews and subcontractors to keep costs and gross margins on track, attend meetings with customers, and assist with scheduling and procurement as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 2+ years field CM or 5+ years field CM with $1MM portfolio.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong grasp of basic accounting/finance principles preferred.
• Experience in water/sewer or municipal environments a plus.
• Proficiency in Word/Excel; Primavera and JD Edwards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and project support for production, safety, quality, and project management standards.
• Lead pre-bid site surveys, contract start-up, and closeout activities.
• Collaborate with field crews and subcontractors to monitor costs and profit margins.
• Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and status meetings with customers.
• Prepare, submit, and track submittals and RFIs; assist with scheduling.
• Help with scopes of work and subcontract awards; handle material procurement.
