Job summary

Insituform Technologies USA, LLC. is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support field construction projects in the wastewater and water infrastructure sectors.

The role involves oversight of production, safety and quality, pre-bid surveys, and closeout activities, working with field crews and subs, tracking costs and margins. The ideal candidate has a engineering or construction management background with 2+ years of field experience or 5+ years of independent project management experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required or 2+ years of related field construction management OR 5+ years of field construction experience managing an annual $1MM portfolio of projects.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel; Primavera and JD Edwards experience a plus.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and ability to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and project support for production, safety, quality, and project management standards.
• Perform pre-bid site surveys, contract execution/start-up, and project closeout.
• Coordinate with field crews and subcontractors to manage costs, meet production rates, and gross profit margins.
• Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and project status meetings with customers.
• Prepare, submit, and track submittals and RFIs; assist with scheduling; prepare scopes of work and assist with awarding subcontracts; handle material procurement.
