Job summary

Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure. The OSP Field Engineer role focuses on training and providing engineering support through detailed telecommunications data collection at job sites.

The position requires strong fiber/network knowledge, the ability to validate field designs, and occasional leadership to junior staff, with extensive travel across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the fiber/telecom construction industry.
• Knowledge of outside plant activities and right of ways.
• Ability to read as-built prints and identify conflicts with existing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, photograph, and document detailed facilities information.
• Capture measurements of attachment heights, span distances, and distances to lines.
