Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to work on-site with customers in the Brea, CA area. You will perform inspections, audits, and verifications to ensure products meet UL requirements and support ongoing certification services.

The role requires a technical Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of related experience, and strong communication. A valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and IT proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of directly related field experience.
Good written and verbal communication in English and local language.
Valid driver's license with clean record where applicable.
Willingness to travel extensively and regularly.
Strong customer-focused mindset and problem-solving ability.
Solid IT skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections and audits per standards and internal procedures.
Review factory visits, products, components, and sub-assemblies for UL markings.
Verify components, materials, markings and UL labels on products.
Review production records and documentations; assess non-conformances.
Schedule inspections independently and complete tasks on time (home office allowed).
Assist customers, explain UL services and resolve technical/administrative issues.
