Job summary

U.S. Engineering Innovations is seeking a Field Engineer to support field-driven project execution, coordinating on-site activities and ensuring quality control.

This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, ability to interpret plans, and collaboration with project teams to maintain schedules and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in mechanical construction and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office; local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical construction or related industry.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical construction projects.
  • Interpret plans, specs, and schedules to align with project goals.
  • Track progress with Project Manager and Superintendent; resolve issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot field challenges.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
  • Conduct field measurements and verify installation accuracy.
  • Assist in quality control per industry standards and policies.
  • Monitor job site safety per OSHA guidelines.
  • Support project documentation (RFIs, change orders, daily reports).
  • Communicate with stakeholders to facilitate execution.
