Job summary

Essel Environmental is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to oversee on-site construction projects, coordinating with multiple teams to meet specifications and timelines safely.

The role involves reviewing shop drawings, product data, and samples; handling RFIs; and assisting with change orders, contract documents, and project logs. You will support coordination across all project levels and ensure timely fabrication and close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating shop drawings, product data, and samples.
• Experience handling RFIs and change orders from subcontractors.
• Ability to coordinate with construction teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in obtaining and reviewing information and approvals for shop drawings, product data, and samples.
• Assist in communicating information across all levels of the project team.
• Assist in managing change orders and responses from subcontractors.
• Study contract drawings and specifications to ensure proper coordination and installation.
• Maintain and update contract documents, electronic project logs, and OM manuals.
• Distribute information required for construction to appropriate parties.
• Assist Engineering to ensure materials and equipment are released for fabrication to meet construction schedule.
• Assist in preparation of final records for project close-out documents.

Job Description:Our client is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction projects on-site, coordinating with various teams to ensure project specifications and timelines are met efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:Assist in obtaining and reviewing information and approvals for processing of shop drawings, product data, and samples and assist in communication of information across all levels of project team. Assist in managing other aspects of communication including submission and responses for Requests for Information (RFI’s). Assist in preparing estimates for changes in work including review of Change Order requests from subcontractors. Study contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation. Assist in maintenance and updates of contract documents, electronic web-based documents, and project logs. Distribute information required for construction to appropriate parties. Assist Engineering to ensure materials and equipment are released for fabrication or manufacture in time to meet construction schedule. Assist in preparation of final records for project including close-out documents, Operations/Maintenance (OM) Manuals, and other related documentation. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
