Job summary

U.S. Engineering invites applications for a Field Engineer to support project execution on mechanical construction sites, interpret plans, coordinate on-site activities, and ensure quality control.

You will work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to track progress, troubleshoot field challenges, and uphold OSHA safety standards; 1–3 years experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred; strong CAD and MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in mechanical construction or related industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects.
  • Interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to track project progress and resolve issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot challenges that arise in the field.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
  • Conduct field measurements and verify installation accuracy against design specifications.
  • Assist in quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and enforce job site safety in accordance with OSHA and company safety guidelines.
  • Support project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and daily reports.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
