Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• 1+ years of construction engineering experience required.
• Beginner knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, specifications, materials and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule and ensure materials, equipment and resources are available for on-schedule production.
• Collects, coordinates and analyzes shop drawings, design specs, material requirements and project data to ensure quality and contract compliance.
• Provides technical input for project work plans and scheduling; identifies risk elements that could impact budget or schedule.
• Evaluates daily production, schedule and budget projections and documents activities using company-approved methods.
• Remits accurate project quantity input and controls using cost coding; coordinates with finance on time, materials, equipment and subcontractor needs.
• Reviews and approves daily timecards; coordinates with Office Manager, payroll and supervisors to resolve inquiries.
