Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking Field Engineer Interns for site-based roles. You will assist in daily cost tracking, scheduling with subcontractors, and review of project documents under supervision.

Responsibilities include QA/QC, safety enforcement, and coordination with Project Engineers and Site Managers to ensure productive and cost-controlled field operations. The role involves supporting engineering reviews, procurement, construction, and start-up activities for high/medium voltage

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field; or equivalent education and experience (in progress). Some construction experience is preferred.
• Accounting (math and record-keeping).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily production and costs monitoring for major work items by ensuring production, cost data and safety are collected from prior day.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers; maintain good client/subcontractor relationships.
• Understand owner contracts and subcontract documents to manage invoicing and quantity tracking for billing.
• Responsible for project equipment and material transactions and inventory monitoring.
• Ensure safety compliance per policies and federal/state regulations; act as on-site Safety Representative when needed.
• Familiarize with project design documents, Quality Plan, ITP; manage Quality documentation and project records.
