Job summary

FlatironDragados offers an Intern Program for college students in Civil/Mechanical Engineering and Construction Management. Interns gain hands-on experience by supporting project managers, engineers and on-site staff at various locations, applying engineering principles to real-world construction tasks.

As an intern, you will help with scheduling, design clarifications, quantity tracking and subcontractor coordination while adhering to corporate policies and workplace standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management, or related undergraduate program.
• Attending an accredited technical college or university.
• Must be able to work on-site at project locations in the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evaluating field conditions and acceptance testing.
• Support quality assurance and quality control engineering materials testing.
• Apply survey knowledge to assist with project layout and checking of work to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
• Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
• Provide document control assistance for correspondence, submittals, design releases, etc.
