Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp in Frederick, MD invites you to join our Intern Program as a Field Engineer Intern. You will work under the guidance of the Project Manager and on-site staff, applying engineering principles to real projects at various site locations.

Currently enrolled students in Engineering or Construction Management programs will gain hands-on experience, learn plan interpretation, scheduling, and documentation, and contribute to QA/QC activities, testing, and field surveys.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Engineering or Construction Management program at an accredited college or university.
• Interns will work under supervision of PM/engineers on-site.
• Strong interest in civil site engineering and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evaluation of field conditions and acceptance testing.
• Support QA/QC engineering materials testing.
• Apply survey knowledge to assist with project layout and checking of work to conform with plans.
