Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related
• Ability to travel or relocate as needed
• Willing to work full-time during the summer (May–August)
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, contract administration, and supervision of field activities
• Perform engineering tasks using standard techniques and address minor technical problems
• Maintain records on job progress and costs
• Plan and schedule job segments and review plans/specifications for material requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate delivery of materials
