Job summary

Nox Group is seeking Field Engineer Interns to join a 12-week internship program in Harlingen, Texas. Interns will rotate through Preconstruction/Estimating, Industrial, and Manufacturing lines while supporting field teams under Project Managers and Engineers.

The program emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and exposure to lifecycle of construction projects, with opportunities to develop professional skills and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year Construction Management or Engineering program.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Positive and teachable attitude.
• Safety level awareness and compliance with safety policies.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Engineers and Field Superintendents to support field operations.
• Assist in surveying and layout work and prepare lift drawings.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain contract documents, drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs and shop drawings.
• Report field issues promptly to project team to minimize delays.
• Track quantities of installed materials and equipment weekly for cost control.
