Job summary

JHL Constructors is seeking a Field Engineer Intern to support the field team across multiple project locations. You will help with document control, change management, scheduling, quality control, safety, and stormwater management while assisting the Superintendent and project management team with material deliveries and coordination.

The role emphasizes learning on-the-job, reviewing drawings, and supporting project closeout activities as required by the field staff.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Construction Management program.
• Attend required safety trainings.
• Willing to learn operational software as needed.
• Seek training from Superintendents/PMs on opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist field team with document control, change management, and record keeping.
• Prepare, review, and distribute RFIs; review subcontractor RFIs.
• Assist with project closeout, warranties, and O&M manuals.
• Develop and maintain logs for materials, inspections, and punch lists.
• Assist in coordinating with Superintendent and PMs on deliveries and schedules.
