Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support the project team under the supervision of the Superintendent and Project Manager. You will learn field and office operations and see how they relate to the physical construction.

Responsibilities include shop drawing coordination, estimating and quantity takeoffs, material purchases, inventory control, schedule monitoring, subcontractor oversight, and assisting with billings.

• 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction related field
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface

Job description

The Field Engineer is an entry level position reporting to the Superintendent with indirect reporting to the Project Manager, assisting the project team in the completion of a designated project. This position has the objective of educating the employee in field and office operations and to show the relationship of those efforts to the physical construction of the project.
