Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer who reports to the Superintendent and Project Manager, assisting the project team on a designated project and learning field and office operations.

You will coordinate shop drawings, support office and field staff, assist with estimating and take-offs, purchase materials, monitor schedules, oversee subcontractors and invoicing, and participate in project tasks to gain practical construction experience.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring a construction-related bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of field and office operations and how they relate to construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shop drawings.
• Provide office/field support staff.
• Estimate and perform quantity take-offs.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor subcontractor schedules and deliveries.
• Assist in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisor.
