Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Field Engineer who reports to the Superintendent/Quality Manager with indirect reporting to the Project Manager, assisting the project team in completing a designated project and learning field and office operations.

You will coordinate shop drawings, provide office/field support, perform estimating and quantity takeoffs, purchase materials, manage inventory, monitor schedules, review subcontractor activity, and assist with billings and invoices as

• 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction related field.
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.
• Office/field support staff.
• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower.
• Significant involvement in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
