Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer in Austin, TX. You will assist the project team under the Superintendent and Project Manager, learning field and office operations and how they relate to the physical construction of the project.

Expect to gain experience in shop drawing coordination, estimating takeoffs, material purchasing, inventory, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and billing. This role offers practical training and growth within the construction team.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in a construction-related field is required.
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface with team members.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.

• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.

The Field Engineer is an entry level position reporting to the Superintendent with indirect reporting to the Project Manager, assisting the project team in the completion of a designated project. This position has the objective of educating the employee in field and office operations and to show the relationship of those efforts to the physical construction of the project.
