Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction Company is hiring a Field Engineer to support projects across GA, AL, IN, SC, and NC. The role interacts with owners, engineers, field supervision, and suppliers to plan work and resolve field issues.

It is a development role with a defined path toward becoming a Project Manager and requires hands-on, on-site presence. The ideal candidate will coordinate activities, validate estimates, track progress, and maintain schedules while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management with 2+ years of multidisciplinary construction experience or 5+ years in similar industrial construction with scheduling and controls.
• Experience with cost tracking, RFIs, take-offs/quantities and estimating is key for candidate selection.
• Open to new graduates in Engineering or Construction Management seeking a Field Engineer path.

Responsibilities

• Interact with owners, engineers, estimators to prepare, review, or validate estimates, scopes, and contracts.
• Provide oversight of field activities to ensure installations meet contract documents, quality standards, and budgets.
• Coordinate construction activities with Owners, Engineers, or OEMs and monitor progress.
• Monitor productivity, verify earned value for payments, updates, and claims.
• Support Change Order Management and update project schedules and status reports.
• Serve as front-line technical liaison for Owner and Engineers.
• Provide technical analysis and recommendations to front-line supervision.
