Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC (MD&A) is seeking a Field Engineer in Training (EIT) based in Latham, NY, with extensive travel across the US. You'll work with experienced mentors to learn inspection, alignment, and troubleshooting for GE and Westinghouse turbine-generator units.

During two years of training, you will perform billable assignments commensurate with your skills, with opportunities to advance after completing the program.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of power generation equipment and related support systems.
• Able to work in an industrial environment.
• Willing to pass drug screen and background review.

Responsibilities

• Inspect turbine/generator components.
• Provide technical direction to the service team.
• Review turbine inspection data and perform troubleshooting.
• Conduct rotor and steam path alignment.
• Track outage scheduling and manpower; supervise labor.
