TEKsystems is seeking a Field Engineer I to support security, access control, and structured cabling projects in a data center environment in Temple, TX. This contract-to-hire, 6-month window offers hands-on field work and opportunities to advance into a technical leadership role.

You will troubleshoot, commission systems, review drawings, and collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Formación

• 3+ years installing, troubleshooting, or supporting security and access control systems.
• Experience with Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic infrastructure.
• Ability to read construction drawings, riser diagrams, and technical specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security, access control, and low-voltage systems.
• Test, commission, and verify newly installed systems for proper functionality.
• Review blueprints, diagrams, and specs; create/maintain project documentation.
