Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M) is seeking a highly organized Field Engineer to oversee and support the operational aspects of utility power construction projects in New Jersey.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–2+ years of experience in utility construction or project coordination.
  • Experience coordinating construction operations in utility power preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning, scheduling and execution of utility power projects.
  • Manage equipment, materials and personnel to meet milestones.
  • Provide on-site logistics support and ensure supplies are available.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with PMs.
  • Support safety, quality and regulatory compliance on-site.
  • Maintain project documentation including permits and inspections.
  • Communicate updates to field personnel and stakeholders.
  • Resolve operational issues with project teams.
  • Assist in hazard mitigation and safety briefings.
  • Liaise between field teams and management.
