Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager for the New Jersey Division to lead electric utility and power infrastructure construction projects.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, manage resources, and drive safety, quality, and profitability across projects in the division’s territory. The role requires a BS in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in construction operations, with strong business development and contract administration skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Construction field or equivalent.
• 10 years’ experience managing mid-to-large construction operations.
• Strong business development, sales and marketing skills.
• Experience with RFPs, contracts, prints, specs, and system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of the New Jersey Division operations and safety program.
• Oversee transmission, distribution, substation and related power delivery projects.
• Develop and implement resource and production plans to meet customer needs.
• Build relationships with customers, subcontractors, and unions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and corporate guidelines.
• Manage billing, estimates, and project profitability.
