Tutor Perini seeks a General Superintendent for the CP1 California High Speed Rail project in Fresno, CA. This role involves supervising earthworks and structures, coordinating scheduling and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, budget, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 15 or more years of construction experience.
• 10+ years as a superintendent on heavy civil projects.
• Experience as a superintendent on projects valued over $200M.
• Previous Superintendent experience on bridge, highway or transit projects.
• Knowledge of US construction methods, techniques, and standards.
• Experience with City, State, Federal Government Clients preferred.
• Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft.
• Experienced in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid or similar software.
• OSHA certification, First Aid Certs.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Highschool diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of discipline Superintendents across earthworks and structures construction efforts to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination).
• Ensure compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements, materials/equipment use, safety plans, and schedule.
• Provide technical assistance: interpretation of drawings and construction methods.
• Assist project management in developing schedules, site logistics, and procedures.
