Job summary

OST INC in the United States is seeking a Field Engineer to install, integrate, test, and support mission-critical Voice Switching and Conferencing systems for FAA customers. This hands-on role is performed on-site at customer facilities across the country, with installations typically lasting one to two weeks per site.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in telecommunications or field engineering, an associate degree or equivalent, and experience installing and testing hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in telecom or field engineering.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on hardware/software installation and testing.
• Ability to travel up to 80% and obtain FAA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and identify installation requirements.
• Install, configure, and integrate communications hardware and software at customer sites.
• Test, troubleshoot, repair, and support system cutovers.
• Coordinate field activities with customers, subcontractors, and engineering teams.
• Complete installation, configuration, and test documentation.
• Communicate project status and technical issues to the team.
