Job summary

LER TechForce, LLC. is seeking Commissioning Engineers to work in Austin, Texas, with 70–80% travel. You will oversee commissioning of energy storage systems, perform test procedures, and interact with clients to ensure successful handover.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, applying protection schemes, and providing field engineering support on site. Candidates should have a B.S. in a related engineering field and be able to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or mechanical engineering, or other ESS-related field.
• Strong knowledge of energy storage systems and how battery systems interact with ESS equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications to understand battery system function.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate commissioning work to meet tight deadlines.
• Ensure battery equipment operates to specification.
• Create and execute test procedures.
• Investigate problems, diagnose and repair faults.
• Lead commissioning phase of projects and coordinate with clients.
