Job summary

ISC Constructors seeks a Field Engineer in Ohio to support field design and construction activities. You will apply standard design techniques under guidance, with independent judgment for minor adaptations, coordinating with home office engineering and subcontractors on multiple disciplines.

You will help plan, direct, and execute work for field projects, and may support procurement, turnover, and commissioning as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related field experience.
• Approximately 6 months to 1 year field experience in Mission Critical Electrical trades.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret contract language.
• Proficiency with Primavera and MS Office suite.
• Strong communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire understanding of project documents to meet contract requirements.
• Observe construction practices to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers per policy.
• Gather required documents to support construction activities.
• Study project specifications and contract portions.
• Promote safe work practices and participate in meetings as needed.
• Aim to complete tasks on time, within budget and schedules.
• Make computations and record data from accounting and engineering sources.
• Inspect installed equipment for compliance when needed.
• Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving.
