Job summary

Instrata is seeking a Field Engineer / Project Engineer to support Division 26 electrical construction projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission‑critical, and data center environments. This hands‑on role emphasizes precise installation, documentation, testing, and turnover with quality at every step.

You will coordinate field activities, review drawings and specifications, manage RFIs, submittals, and closeout packages, and ensure NEC/NFPA/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience on Division 26 electrical projects.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or data center settings.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams daily.
• Coordinate installation activities for power distribution, switchgear, panelboards, and related systems.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, redlines, and turnover packages.
• Review drawings, one‑line diagrams, and equipment layouts for constructability.
• Support QA/QC, testing, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Interface with owners, GCs, design consultants, and trade partners.
• Provide status updates on progress, documentation, and milestones.
