Job summary

SB Energy is seeking a Project Engineer - Data Center Power for a Texas site to oversee engineering coordination on a multi‑gigawatt data center power program. You will link contractors, campus design teams, consultants, and SB Energy engineering resources to keep decisions aligned with execution.

The role emphasizes strong electrical fundamentals, field presence on site, and leadership in coordinating design reviews, RFIs, and submittals across cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 5–10 years of professional experience.
• Experience coordinating engineering deliverables on power infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field contact for engineering and technical concerns on site.
• Coordinate design packages across transmission line, substation, and power infrastructure scopes.
• Manage design schedules, RFIs, submittals, and milestones to support project execution.
• Engage internal SMEs for technical support and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Independent Engineer on technical questions and milestone verification.
