Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp. is seeking a Field Engineer to lead with precision on complex construction projects in Colorado.

You will provide technical engineering information to ensure work complies with engineering standards, codes, and contract specifications, while coordinating with project crews to maintain schedule and budget. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of construction engineering experience, with beginner knowledge of equipment, drawings, and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 1+ year experience preferred.
• Construction engineering experience or knowledge required.
• Beginner knowledge of construction equipment, drawings & specifications, building materials and required standards.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with project crews to review production schedule and ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available.
• Collect, coordinate and analyze shop drawings, design specs, material requirements and project data.
• Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling; identify risk elements.
• Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections; document activities using company methods.
• Review and approve daily timecards; coordinate with Office Manager and payroll.
