Job summary

Eastern Commercial, the field operations arm of Eastern Companies, is seeking a Field Engineer in Fayetteville, NC. You will support the Superintendent and Project Manager, coordinate field activities, manage deliveries, and maintain site documentation to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role covers quality control, safety leadership, and hands-on site leadership, with opportunities to contribute to preconstruction efforts such as estimating and take-offs.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating field operations on construction sites.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented team player with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Support Master Construction Schedule and look-ahead planning.
• Maintain organized job site and prep daily field reports.
• Lead field coordination with trade contractors and inspectors.
• Oversee quality control and punch list processes.
• Support safety programs and weekly safety meetings.
• Assist with take-offs, estimates, and buyout tasks.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and QC manuals.
