Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer in Austin, TX. The role reports to the Superintendent with indirect reporting to the Project Manager and focuses on educating the employee in field and office operations as they relate to constructing the project.

You will coordinate shop drawings, support office/field staff, assist estimating and quantity take-offs, and purchase materials to keep tasks on track. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shop drawings and assist the project team in daily operations.
• Provide office/field support to the team.
• Assist estimating and quantity take-offs for project tasks.
• Purchase materials and manage project-related inventories.
• Monitor schedules and subcontractor progress against deliveries.
• Assist with preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Support supervisor-directed assignments as needed.
