Job summary

NRP Group in Bronx, NY is seeking a Field Engineer to support document control and construction administration under the Project Superintendent. You will interact with the Project Manager and Superintendent across multiple facets of construction from conception to completion.

Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, logs, and schedules; preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports; coordinating QC and safety; and collaborating with subcontractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with inspector guidelines, building codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project document control at site office for all phases of the construction project.
• Create, track and review submittals; coordinate with plans and specs; revise as needed.
• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with scheduling updates and inspections.
• Maintain RFIs, change orders and related logs; coordinate with consultants.
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly construction logs and monthly status reports.
• Coordinate QC logs and updates with the QC manager; coordinate with subs and vendors.
• Support safety program and OSHA compliance on site.
