Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a SPW Field Engineer to participate in coordinating and executing Self-Perform Work activities. You will work with SPW crews and project teams to resolve field challenges and support on-schedule delivery with quality and safety in mind.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in construction management or engineering, 2–4 years of SPW experience, and OSHA 30-hour certification preferred (completion within 6 months of hire). Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of SPW activities to meet project specs, safety, and quality standards.

• Collect and organize SPW documents (timesheets, production reports, material logs) for accuracy.
• Identify productivity and quality issues and assist supervision in developing solutions.
• Communicate SPW field updates to project leaders and crew members.

Works with multidisciplinary teams, including SPW crews and project teams, to help resolve field challenges specific to SPW activities and improve field operations. Contributes to SPW project outcomes by helping resolve field related questions and issues.Key Responsibilities:Assists with technical planning and execution of SPW activities, ensuring tasks comply with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.Coordinates with SPW crews and project teams to help resolve general technical issues and support steady workflow and timely project delivery.Assists with collecting and organizing technical documents related to SPW activities, including crew timesheets, daily production reports, and material usage logs, to help ensure project information is accurate and current.Identifies SPW productivity and quality issues, and assists crew supervision in finding solutions and correcting issues.Communicates SPW-related field updates to project leaders and crew members to ensure everyone is informed about changes, progress, or issues affecting SPW activities.Education Qualifications:Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.Work Experience:2 - 4 years of experience in SPW field engineering, construction management, or a related field required.Certifications and Licenses:OSHA 30‑Hour Construction preferred.
