Job summary

DPR Construction in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a skilled field engineer to support daily field operations and help drive project goals.

You will supervise site activities, coordinate materials, and reinforce safety standards while collaborating with trade partners to keep projects on schedule.

With 5+ years in field engineering or construction management and OSHA 30, you will contribute to high-quality, on-time delivery on complex tech, life sciences and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management or related field.
• 5 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred; within 6 months of hire required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the management and development of a team of field operations individuals, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under guidance.
• Supervises daily site activities and applies sound judgment in implementing quality control measures, resolving routine issues and supporting solutions to unique field challenges to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
• Manages coordination of delivery and allocation of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow.
• Monitors accurate daily logs and progress reports to document project activities and issues.
• Communicates routine updates and concerns to project leadership, enabling timely resolution of challenges.
• Participates in or leads safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce a culture of accountability.
• Supports field teams, including self-perform, in addressing routine operational issues and escalates more complex matters as needed.
