Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to coordinate and execute field engineering activities on our Louisiana projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals and quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, collaboration with project managers and subcontractors, and opportunities to implement efficiency improvements, including prefabrication where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management or related field.
• 2–4 years of field engineering, construction management experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred; within 6 months of hire.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical review and implementation of engineering plans, ensuring quality and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, field staff, superintendents, self-perform teams and subcontractors to keep projects moving.
• Support site inspections, identify risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Gather and organize technical documents to keep information current.
• Recommend process improvements and prefabrication opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
• Share technical updates with project leaders and teams.
