Visual Sound is seeking a skilled AV Field Engineer (Commissioning) for our Corporate Office in Broomall, PA. This role is accountable for troubleshooting, re-installation and maintenance of electronic audio/visual equipment, installing and servicing the systems in the most efficient and effective manner to assure minimum down time and maximum performance.

Please be advised that our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Formación

• Formal education in Electronics or related field is required.
• Minimum two years of AV experience.
• Four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experience.
• Experience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, BlueJeans, Cisco Telepresence) both hardware and software.
• AVIXA CTS certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Field Commissioning of AV Systems and other Engineering related duties.
• Communicating system performance to the customer and to the Installation Department.
• Final commissioning of audio-visual equipment, including, but not limited to audio DSPs, CODECs, switchers, control systems, VTC systems, and video processors.
• Assisting the Technical Operations team performing installation and system commissioning work as needed.
• Creating user guides and training end users on how to use their A/V control systems.
• Refining current processes, developing better workflows, and making educated recommendations.
• Working closely with the Installation Manager and the Manager of AV Integration to ensure a professional and safe working environment.
• Maintaining clear communication, documentation and organization of paperwork, tools and company vehicle.
• Traveling to client sites and occasional out of town travel.
