Job summary

TECHEAD Mid Atlantic is seeking an AV Field Engineer (Commissioning) to install, test, and commission audiovisual systems on-site in Broomall, PA. The role requires hands-on AV experience and the ability to work directly with clients to ensure peak system performance.

You will troubleshoot, document, and train end users, while supporting operations with travel to client sites as needed. The position offers a direct-hire, on-site work arrangement and opportunities for CTS-certified professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on AV experience.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Video Conferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco, Google Meet, etc.).
• AVIXA CTS certification preferred.

• Commission AV hardware and software, including audio DSPs, CODECs, control systems, switchers, and video processors.
• Perform system testing, communicate performance results to clients and internal teams, and train end users.

Overview

Requirements

• Formal education in Electronics or a related field (4-year degree or military experience accepted in place of work history).

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on AV experience.

• Proficiency with Enterprise Video Conferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco, Google Meet, etc.).

• AVIXA CTS certification preferred.
