Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer to support on-site engineering, schedule reviews, safety, and quality control for heavy civil projects in Orlando. You will coordinate CPM schedules, manage daily field activities, and assist with subcontractor procurement and cost reporting.

The role requires a four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in heavy civil work, proficiency in MS Office and BlueBeam, and familiarity with HCSS

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and or two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar capacity in heavy-civil construction projects.
• Preferred 2+ years' construction field experience on heavy civil or infrastructure related projects.
• Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, BlueBeam.
• Preferred experience utilizing; HCSS HeavyJob, Vista, CAD, P6.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and participation in following project functions and duties.
• Actively promote and carry out company Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Develop activity work plans to safely and efficiently execute work.
• Develop and manage CPM schedule narratives and updates.
• Assist in procurement, buy-out, and management of subcontractors and material resources.
• Prepare project cost reporting, revenue, and cash flow projections.
• Assist in field surveying, layout elevations, and as-built data.
• Participate in project submittals, RFIs, and quality control documentation.
