Job summary

Ragle Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Dallas-Fort Worth Division. This entry-level position offers recent graduates a path into heavy civil construction, working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Operations teams.

The role supports daily project operations by coordinating field activities, tracking production, and maintaining quality and safety in accordance with project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Previous internship or construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment at all times
• Support quality control efforts to ensure work meets project specifications
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and survey needs for field crews
• Track daily and weekly production through quantity reporting and timecard review
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measure completed work
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and owner representatives
• Prepare and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documentation
• Maintain accurate project records and reports
• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project activities
• Perform additional duties as assigned
