Job summary

Ragle Inc. is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to supervise field operations for roadway, bridge, and highway projects across Texas. The role emphasizes outdoor site oversight, coordination with crews, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and at least 2 years of related experience. Travel and potential relocation support are available for suitable projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of change orders while maintaining clear communication between all parties involved.
• Monitor and analyze project costs, providing reports and insights to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular meetings with trades and stakeholders to review progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and safety policies while conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Provide leadership and support to construction crews and subcontractors to ensure successful execution of design plans.
• Oversee construction activities on-site, making real-time decisions to address challenges and keep projects on schedule.
