Job summary

Alstom in Miami seeks a full‑time VIE Field Engineer to apply engineering expertise to Automated People Mover (APM) projects. You will collaborate with Project Management, Installation, and Test & Commissioning teams, rotating through functions every six months under experienced managers.

The role focuses on governance, installation supervision, testing, troubleshooting, safety and quality assurance, and contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing while delivering on schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Experience or understanding of project management, installation, or test & commissioning processes.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts like EAC, ETC, and AC.
Familiarity with EHS compliance and quality standards in engineering projects.
A proactive and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to adapt to new challenges and deliver results in a structured manner.

Responsibilities

Deliver Automated People Mover (APM) solutions with Alstom technology.
Work with Project Management, Installation, and Test & Commissioning teams.
Rotate through key functions every six months.
Take care of project governance, installation supervision, and test & commissioning activities.
Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
