Job summary

The LiRo Group is seeking a Field Engineer for MTA NYC project sites, including Hillside Ave, Queens, and multiple city locations. This role focuses on managing contractor construction activities for MTA stations and ensuring Safety and quality on site.

The position requires prior MTA experience, NYCT Safety certification, and PMG 123 certification, with a minimum of 5 years in related work. Weekend work may be required, and compensation is competitive.

• Either Electrical / Mechanical / Civil, Architectural discipline

Responsibilities

Our MTA project team is seeking a Field Inspector / Engineer to manage and oversee contractor construction activities in MTA New York City Transit station locations.

Project Locations:

Field Office: Hillside Ave., Queens

Sites: 7th Ave., Brooklyn / East 149th St. Bronx / 179th St., Jamaica Queens

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Must have prior MTA work experience
• Current NYCT Track Safety class certification
• Current MTA PMG 123 certification
• Either Electrical / Mechanical / Civil, Architectural discipline
• Must be willing and able to work weekends

• We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
• Compensation: Minimum: $104,000 Maximum: $155,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location.
