Job summary

Robins & Morton is seeking a Field Engineer to develop field team members and provide detailed documentation to deliver quality service on our construction projects. You will contribute to overall project coordination, foster a culture of safety and innovation, and help our clients achieve successful outcomes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Science/Construction Management, or 2+ years related experience.
  • Co-op/intern experience is a plus.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of trade partners and project team members.
  • Use of basic reasoning and ability to resolve issues quickly with little direction.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in layout of building structure, partitions and other portions of the work.
  • Maintain daily logs to document all jobsite activities and events.
  • Assist in submittal and shop drawing review as assigned.
  • Help implement & maintain quality control programs & life safety checkout procedures.
  • Assist Superintendent and Project Manager with various assigned tasks.
  • Lead all assigned field personnel for effective accomplishment of designated tasks.
  • Lead field operations of trade partners to successfully complete work.
