Job summary

Mighty Lube Systematic Lubrication Inc. is hiring a Field Mechanical Engineer to cover service routes across Michigan and surrounding states. The role combines hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automatic lubrication systems, conveyors, and monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or at least 5 years of hands-on mechanical or electrical field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain automatic lubrication systems and conveyor monitoring equipment at customer facilities
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Provide on-site technical support and training to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance practices
• Collaborate with internal engineering and service teams to address complex technical challenges and improve system performance
• Assist with system startups, commissioning, and calibration to meet operational specifications
• Document service activities, maintenance reports, and customer interactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures while working in industrial environments
• Travel to customer plants throughout Michigan and surrounding states for service routes, installations, repairs, and ongoing maintenance
• Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on product performance and field experience
