Job summary

Mighty Lube Systematic Lubrication Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanical Engineer to cover service routes at plants across Michigan and surrounding states.

This role offers a strong base salary with commission incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. You will install, service, and troubleshoot automatic lubrication systems while traveling to customer facilities in the Detroit, Michigan area and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or at least 5 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; able to explain technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain automatic lubrication systems and conveyor monitoring equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance practices.
• Travel to customer plants throughout Michigan and surrounding states for service routes, installations, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
